Our landscaping vendor is applying granules to the common areas and the gravel parking strips next to the sidewalks. The advantage of using granules is that spray ends up on the rocks and less in the soil. The granules will be washed into the soil during the next rain which is forecasted in a few days.
Avoid having your pet chew on something in the rocks or too much exposure to their pads while walking through the rocks. To be extra careful, keep your pet on the sidewalk. The vendor is making sure the sidewalk and curbs are cleaned after application.
