The Board amended the Design Guidelines, Section G. at the January 31, 2023 Board Meeting. The amendment is a clarification that landscape companies are considered contractors. Please ensure your landscape service is aware and abides by the day and time restrictions.

G. APPROVAL AND COMPLETION OF IMPROVEMENTS
All external changes or modifications to an existing home and/or property must be submitted to the Architectural Review Committee for approval. The submittal must be in writing using the electronic form (EForm) on the Fairfield website.
Contractor’s activity will be between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Work on weekends and holidays must be approved in writing by a Board member prior to the work taking place. For clarification purposes, contractors include landscape services. In cases of emergency where contractor work is necessary on a weekend or holiday the Board must be notified. The notification will include the nature of the emergency along with the day(s) and time(s) the work will take place. If a unique situation arises where the only option is contractor non-emergency work on a weekend or holiday prior written approval from a Board member is required.
