Greetings Fairfield Homeowners,
As you are aware the Gate Committee is currently examining various options for the vehicle gates and pedestrian gate. Over the past few years there have been instances of damage to the vehicle gates and unauthorized use of entrance codes. The latter has resulted in pool parties by trespassers resulting in damage in the pool cabana area. There have also been instances of trespassers jumping the wall/fence of the pool area.
Some Residents have raised the question should Fairfield install a video recording system for the vehicle gates, pedestrian gate, and pool gate/area. The Board has been advised by its attorney that for security purposes “you can have the Association’s security company install surveillance video cameras in the three areas you describe so long as notice is posted that videotaping is being used.”
The Board would like input from all homeowners. Please respond to this email supporting or not supporting security cameras for the vehicle gates, pedestrian gate, and pool gate/area. You may be in support of one area and not another, for example. Or, a simple “yes” or “no” answer will suffice.
This survey will assist the Board in determining if video security is wanted by homeowners. This is a starting point, no details have been determined.
Please respond to this survey by Oct. 15th, 2021. The responses will go to Fairfield’s Gmail account and will be only be viewed by Board members. Normally the email from Fairfieldvistoso.com should not be replied to, however for this email the Board will receive the responses. The responses will be confidential; however, a Board member may contact you with questions about your input if necessary.
