Greetings Fairfield Homeowners,

As of today, there has not been a self-nomination for the Board vacancy beginning on March 4, 2023.  The current Board hoped there would be enough candidates to increase the Board to 5 members.  At this time the Board will most likely remain at 3 members.  At least one candidate is necessary due to Joe Brandhuber’s expiring term. Sharon Jarvis and Sharon Scott will remain on the Board.  The new Board will meet after the 2023 Annual Meeting to elect officers.

We are hoping for a Board member that will monitor the maintenance of our common areas including the landscaping, cabana, pool/spa contractors.  However, being a full-time resident or having experience in the aforementioned areas are not required.   Board members often rotate through the assignment of tasks so a new Board member wouldn’t be committed to 3 years of this particular area.  Also, the Board members often share and work together in much of the oversight needed in our community.

The nomination form deadline for submission is January 31, 2023.   Please consider taking your turn at serving our community on the Board.
