Greetings Fairfield Homeowners,
In response to noise concerns during the weekends and holidays the Board is considering amending the Design Guidelines to apply the same provisions in Section G. 2. and 3. to landscape service contractors as applies to construction contractors.
Section G.
2. Contractors’ activity will be between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Work on
weekends and holidays must be approved by a Board member prior to the work taking place.
3. Contractor’s parking cannot block driveways or roadways. To the extent practicable, all contractors for
the project are to park on the same side of the street.
The Board is aware that some homeowners have regularly scheduled landscape maintenance on the weekends. However many homeowners have expressed the desire to restrict the noise caused by these services to weekdays to ensure more quiet and peaceful weekends and holidays.
